Harry Kane worth £300m after Liverpool spent £75m on Virgil van Dijk - Mullery
TOTTENHAM star Harry Kane is worth £300 million, according to club legend Alan Mullery.
Kane enjoyed a stunning 2017, eclipsing Alan Shearer’s record with 39 Premier League goals, scoring 56 times in total for club and country.
Despite not winning a trophy this year, Kane’s importance to Spurs is undoubted.
Last week saw Liverpool complete a £75million deal for Virgil van Dijk and he will formally move to Anfield this month.
And Mullery is convinced Kane is worth FOUR times more than what the Reds paid for Van Dijk.

If you double that number up to £150million, forget it
When asked about Kane’s talent, Mullery said: “He's got this great ability to be in the right place at the right time to score goals.
“I think [the way] you can always tell when a player has become a great player is, if he doesn't play then you miss him badly, and I think that's happened to Tottenham over a period of time now that, if Harry Kane wasn't playing, everybody would think: 'who's going to score the goals?'.
"And the reliability goes on somebody else but with Harry Kane you know every time he gets anywhere near the goal, he can score.
“When you're looking at Virgil van Dijk for £75million (moving from Southampton to Liverpool), what would Harry Kane cost you? Please God, he stays at Spurs.

"If you double that number up to £150million, forget it. That's half the price he's worth because he is now the top player in European football."
Tottenham meanwhile resume Premier League duties away to Swansea on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Mauricio Pochettino's men thrashed Southampton 5-2 on their last outing at Wembley on Boxing Day.
