Leeds news: Samuel Saiz guarantee issued by Thomas Christiansen ahead of Birmingham clash
LEEDS UNITED playmaker Samuel Saiz will play against Birmingham on Saturday (3pm).

That is according to Whites head coach Thomas Christiansen, who revealed the Spaniard was fit to face Burton Albion.
Saiz missed last weekend’s win against Hull due to a calf injury.
He was left out of Leeds’ squad for the Boxing Day trip to the Pirelli Stadium.
But, speaking at his post-match press conference, Christiansen said: “He could have made it today, but again I took the decision not to run any risks.
“For the next game against Birmingham, he will be there.”

Asked what he said to his troops at the half-time break, Christiansen revealed: "I was satisfied with the performance in the first half.
"And I told my players they just have to believe and continue in the same way.
"Of course there were some things we needed to adjust.
"And that's what we used the half-time team talk for, those things. To improve and learn from our mistakes.
"But it was general, I wanted us to perform the same way in the second half as we did in the first."

Leeds could have been reduced to 10 men on 45 minutes after Gaetano Berardi lunged into a nasty tackle on the stroke of half time but referee Darren Bond was in a festive mood and only issued a booking.
Christiansen said: “I wasn't worried, he's intelligent he had one yellow card and he will be attentive.
"(The foul on Viera) could be the same. But that's no excuse."
