RANGERS have completed the permanent signing of left-back Declan John from Cardiff City.

John, 22, has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Scottish giants.
He has impressed since joining from Championship promotion contenders Cardiff on a loan deal in August.
John has scored two goals in 14 appearances.
Rangers have seen off competition from Championship sides Leeds and Reading for John’s signature.
His Cardiff deal was set to expire at the end of the season.
It was reported that the Bluebirds were considering recalling John next month before cashing in.
But the Gers have moved quickly to seal his signature on a full-time basis.
John has been a regular at left-back since moving to Ibrox, making the most of Lee Wallace’s absence through injury.
The Merthyr Tydfil-born ace came through the youth ranks at Cardiff before making his senior debut in 2012.

He became a regular during the club’s sole season in the Premier League but slipped down the pecking order upon their return to the Championship in 2014.
John has two caps at international level for Wales but has not featured for his country since 2013.
