Swansea City have entered the race to land Crystal Palace left back Patrick van Aanholt, who also interests Everton.
Sam Allardyce who has worked with Van Aanholt at both Palace and Sunderland is keen on being reunited with the Dutchman
But Swansea are also keen to bolster their defence.
Van Aanholt is keen to kick start his career after struggling to hold down a regular place at Selhurst Park since former England boss Roy Hodgson was installed as manager.
West Ham eye defender
West Ham boss David Moyes is keeping tabs on Hoffenheim’s Czech international right-back Pavel Kaderabek.
The 25 year-old is under contract to the German club until the summer of 2021 is rated at around £12 million.
Moyes is keen to bolster his defensive options as one of at least three signings that he is planning to make when the transfer window opens.

The Blues believe that now their former technical director Michael Emenalo is working for Monaco gives them an edge over Arsenal in the race to sign Lemar.
Lemar rejected a move to the Gunners in the summer despite Arsenal agreeing a fee with Monaco.
Stoke are ready to get rid of Jese

Stoke City won’t stand in the way of on loan striker Jese returning to Las Palmas when the transfer window opens next month.
Jese, who is on a season long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, hasn’t scored since helping the club beat Arsenal on his debut.
He has slipped down the pecking order and his family are pressuring him to return home and it appears that Stoke are ready to let him go.
