Everton news: Nottingham Forest boss to hold talks with Sam Allardyce about Kieran Dowell
NOTTINGHAM FOREST manager Mark Warburton does not expect Sam Allardyce to cancel Kieran Dowell’s loan spell.
Sam Allardyce explains why he took Everton job
Midfielder Dowell is due to spend the season with Forest but Warburton will hold talks with new Everton boss Alladyce to check that he does not want to bring him back to Goodison Park.
“I don’t think the change in manager there will change anything,” he explained. “I certainly hope it won’t.
“They have a vastly experienced manager going in there, in Sam. He is hugely experienced and has huge knowledge of the game.
“Our job is to have dialogue but I hope we can send him back to Everton as a significantly better player than when he first arrived.”
Dowell, 20, has bagged seven goals and provided three assists in the Championship for Forest.

“Kieran, I would like to think that anyone can see how he is developing,” said Warburton.
“He is thriving on the loan here and we are benefitting. Everton, I hope, are seeing their young asset improve in value and worth.
“Our job will always be to send him back to his parent club as a better player than when he first arrived here. That is our job and if we can do that then we can be seen as a club that benefits young Premier League talents when they are here.
“Our job is to work towards the Premier League ourselves, because that is where we want to be. Right now it is a fantastic situation for all parties, which is the aim of the loan – to make sure all parties benefit from it.
“I think everyone will agree that Kieran, ourselves and Everton are benefitting from that. It feels like a good move for everyone.”
