Leeds news: Thomas Christiansen says club are ‘working’ ahead of January transfer window
LEEDS UNITED head coach Thomas Christiansen has revealed a positive run of results could affect their January transfer plans.
Thomas Christensen is working on January targets
Leeds are expected to strengthen in the New Year, despite adding 16 players to their squad in the summer.
A striker and a left-back are likely to be prioritised in January.
And Christiansen admits plans are already afoot.
“We are working with Victor [Orta, director of football] and Andrea [Radrizzani, owner] to see where we can improve,” he said.
“We are looking at all the areas, of course we have to reply on the pitch.
“We have time still, I expect that we will turn the situation for better and then we will see if it is necessary to bring anybody.”
Christiansen has a large squad and has barely used a number of summer signings such as Mateusz Klich and Pawel Cibicki.

But he said: “The thing is I have a good squad.
“I know they have been out for a long time but if they come in I have to take someone else out.
“I am thinking of the possibilities.
“Of course they will be disappointed, I would have been disappointed as well.”
Leeds are monitoring Holstein Kiel striker Marvin Ducksch.
They have also been linked with Cardiff left-back Declan John, who is on loan at Rangers.
