Leeds eye Holstein Kiel goal machine: Whites representatives travel to Germany
LEEDS UNITED are tracking Holstein Kiel hotshot Marvin Ducksch.
Leeds United are interested in Holstein Kiel striker Marvin Ducksch
The 23-year-old striker - on loan from St Pauli - is in prolific form, bagging 10 goals in 14 league fixtures to lead the Bundesliga II scoring charts.
Leeds sent scouts to Nuremberg last Saturday to watch 6 ft 2 in Ducksch in action, according to the Daily Mail.
But Whites representatives were limited to 68 minutes of action before he was withdrawn.
Ducksch has been central to Holstein Kiel’s terrific start to the season.
They currently top the Bundesliga II table, having picked up nine wins from 14 games.
Ducksch is on loan with Holstein Kiel until the end of the season but his St Pauli contract does not expire until June 2019.
The one-cap Germany Under-18 international came through the ranks at Borussia Dortmund and made eight appearances at first-team level.
Ducksch joined St Pauli in the summer of 2016 but managed just 12 appearances in all competitions before heading out on loan.

He joined Holstein Kiel in January to help them win promotion from the third tier before extending the loan deal in June.
A new striker is expected to be a major priority for Leeds in the January transfer window.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga arrived on loan from Hamburg in the summer transfer window to replace the departed Chris Wood but he has been conspicuously absent in Leeds’ last two games.
