Neymar could join Real Madrid to eventually replace Cristiano Ronaldo
Neymar looks likely to to quit PSG despite his world record move last summer with Real Madrid pursuing him.
The Brazil ace appears to be the man Florentino Perez wants to eventually replace Cristiano Ronaldo as the main man at the Bernabeu.
And Ronaldo is so far the one man who person who has not given the club the go-ahead to bring him in, according to Spanish publication Don Balon.
Perez is said to have already met with Neymar’s father to discuss a transfer and Zinedine Zidane has endorsed the deal.
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and Casemiro have publicly said he’d be great signing.
But Ronaldo’s go-ahead is still the sticking point.
Neymar joined PSG from Real’s big rivals Barcelona last summer but has already clashed with Edinson Cavani and is said to be unimpressed with manager Unai Emery.
He has been on fire on the pitch though, scoring 11 goals in 12 appearances.

At Madrid, meanwhile, Ronaldo has struggled scoring just once in La Liga as they trail Barcelona in the title race.

He is also annoyed at the contract offer on the table from the club as he feels it is below what Lionel Messi and Neymar are both paid by their clubs.
