Liverpool news: Sven-Goran Eriksson reveals he wants to manage Reds
LIVERPOOL is the one club Sven-Goran Eriksson wishes he could manage, the Swede has revealed.

Former England manager Eriksson leg the Three Lions into two World Cups and a European Championships.
He was axed in 2006 off the back of England’s World Cup failure and a year later became Manchester City’s boss.
Eriksson, 69, has also managed Leicester in England, while recently he has picked up jobs in the Chinese Super League.
He is currently not in a job and admitted he’d jump at the chance to manage Liverpool.
“I would love to manage Liverpool,” Eriksson said.
“I’m an old, old Liverpool fan.
I would love to manage Liverpool
“I always have been. As has my father.”
Liverpool don’t appear ready to sack manager Jurgen Klopp any time soon and Eriksson is unlikely to be on their shortlist should be German be axed.
The Reds side fifth in the Premier League, already 12 points off leaders Manchester City.
Eriksson has been out of work since being sacked by Shenzhen FC in June.
Before that he spent two years at one of China’s biggest-spending clubs, Shanghai SIPG.

Asked about his experiences of managing in England with English players, he said: “English players are not difficult to manage, to have in training.
“They want to play football, love to play football and they are disciplined. I think it’s from the clubs.
“I had much more difficult players when I was in Italy. A big difference.
“I didn’t have any problem with England. Of course you bench one of them and they expected to play. But it’s easy to manage English players.”
