Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on Leeds United's promotion hopes
Hasselbaink, who slammed in 42 goals in 87 appearances for Leeds, says his former team can gain promotion to the Premier League this term.
He believes Christiansen's side must regain consistency to be challenging come next May though.
Hasselbaink told Express Sport: "Look, the Championship is a very difficult competition. The club that can get promotion is the one with the best ability and the one who can stay calm for the whole period of time.

Thomas Christiansen's Leeds United have slipped to seventh in the Championship
"They [Leeds] started ever so well. They're having a difficult time. But they need consistency again and if they can get that good consistency with picking points up and working with not too much hoo-ha, then they will have a chance.
"It's a magnificent club, it's a big club. It's a club that actually should be in the Premier League with the stature of the club. But getting out of the Championship is not easy, as a lot of clubs have found. And they're finding that now as well."
Leeds can move as high as fifth this weekend providing they beat Brentford at Griffin Park and results elsewhere go their way.
