Tottenham news: Rio Ferdinand praises two players for Real Madrid performance
MANCHESTER UNITED legend Rio Ferdinand has piled praise on Harry Kane and Dele Alli after their performances for Tottenham against Real Madrid tonight.

Alli scored twice to help Tottenham to a historic 3-1 win over the back-to-back Champions League winners.
Kane started the match after missing Spurs’ last two games with a hamstring injury.
The England international did not get on the scoresheet, with Christian Eriksen netting the third goal to all but seal the win.
But Ferdinand was still impressed with the Kane and says Alli has proved his doubters wrong this season.

Ferdinand said on BT Sport: “Great performance.
“Harry Kane, he was a doubt before the game, the way he played today, holding the ball up, bringing others into the game was great.
“He didn’t score but contributed in other ways.

“He answered a lot today with some cool finishing and getting in the right areas.
“I just think this Tottenham team really will learn a lot from this.
“They’ll gain from this in terms of playing at Wembley, being able to win at Wembley.
“This could be a really good catalyst for the season for them.”
