Coutinho has been in fine form ever since putting the disappointment of a failed summer move to Barcelona behind him.
And Jurgen Klopp will have been counting on the playmaker to help Liverpool get back to winning ways when Huddersfield visit Anfield.
Joyce has now revealed that Coutinho is set to miss the showdown with David Wagner’s Terriers though.
He tweeted: "Philippe Coutinho injury blow for Liverpool. Will miss Huddersfield game."

Coutinho is thought to have suffered a groin injury in training this week.
And The Independent have indicated the problem might not just rule him out of one game.
The newspaper reckon Coutinho is also a major doubt for Wednesday night's Maribor clash.

Liverpool are already without key men Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana going into the Huddersfield match.
