Carabao Cup draw farce: Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd fans left waiting over 90 minutes
THE Carabao Cup quarter-final draw was delayed by over 90 minutes after a 'technical glitch'.

The draw was scheduled to be broadcast live on Twitter for the first time ever with Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell conducting proceedings but it descended into a farce with technical glitches at Twitter HQ causing a delay.
A tweet from the Carabao Cup account said: “Draw delayed: Carabao Cup Round Five Draw will now take place at 5pm following a minor technical glitch at Twitter HQ.”
And shortly afterwards they added: “The EFL and Twitter would like to apologise for the delay in the #CarabaoCup live stream. Normal service to be resumed within the hour.”
Then before the anticipated 5pm draw they tweeted: "Apologies from the EFL and Twitter. We are still working on the technical difficulties and will bring you the draw as soon as possible..."

Eventually, the draw was announced but it was pre-recorded and the video posted on Twitter.
