GARY NEVILLE has accused Matteo Darmian of being anxious during the Liverpool vs Manchester United clash.
Gary Neville has singled out Matteo Darmian for looking nervous
Darmian was tasked with dealing with Mohamed Salah at Anfield this afternoon but looked edgy in the opening exchanges.
It didn't escape the attentions of Neville, who singled out the Italian for criticism.
The Manchester United legend, commentating on the game for Sky Sports, said: "Salah has started well taking up some good positions but Darmian has looked nervous I have to say
"With his first three touches of the ball he's looked anxious
Matteo Darmian and Romelu Lukaku got off to a slow start at Anfield
"He needs to settle down."
Neville also slammed Romelu Lukaku for not doing enough early on.
He said: "Lukaku has touched the ball once in the first 23 minutes of this game.
"The service hasn't been great but neither is his urgency. I watched him here last year for Everton when he was pretty similar.
"He has got to do more."
