West Ham boss Slaven Bilic makes astonishing revelation about how he picks his team
WEST HAM boss Slaven Bilic has revealed he uses a credit rating system to pick his teams.
Bilic was speaking ahead of tomorrow's clash with Burnley
Bilic has been criticised by some fans for his selection policy and for substituting former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez.
Hernandez is likely to start on the bench at Turf Moor because he has only just returned from international duty with Mexico.
And Bilic outlined how he would select from his pool of players who are fully fit. “Nothing gives you as much credit as the games,” he said.
“Games are where it counts. It’s like a credit card. If it’s flat you cannot get the money out of the cash machine, you cannot go shopping.

“Every training session gives you a little plus or minus. And the players know that.”
Burnley midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson, meanwhile, says Iceland would jump at a chance to humiliate England again at next year’s World Cup.
Gudmundsson was in the Iceland team which dumped England out at the last-16 stage of Euro 2016 with a 2-1 win in Nice.
Iceland booked their place at Russia 2018 this week with Gudmundsson scoring in the 3-0 victory in Turkey last week and again in the 2-0 win over Kosovo on Monday.
Johann Berg Gudmundsson is hoping Iceland can humiliate England again at the World Cup
It ensured Iceland, with a population of just 335,000, became the smallest ever nation to qualify for the World Cup.
Gudmundsson will be keenly watching the draw on December 1 and is hoping for another chance to humble England at a major tournament.
“Hopefully we’ll get England in the group phase,” said Gudmundsson. “I believe we could beat them again. The pressure on England is much more. They should be doing a bit better. I’m not expecting – and hopefully you’re not – for England to win the World Cup. Maybe you are?”
