United are favourites having gone unbeaten so far this season and sitting second in the Premier League.
Liverpool have won just one in seven in all competitions since beating Arsenal 4-0 in August.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have dropped to seventh and have a goal difference of just one.
United meanwhile are already seven points better off and have a goal difference better by 18.

But Silvestre, the former Manchester United defender, has a warning of what it feels like going to Anfield wearing United’s red.
“You feel like you’re going to hell,” he told 888sport.
“You are not welcome and you can feel the hate for sure. It’s a hostile environment and it’s a good occasion to see how you react in adversity. It’s the best place to win games.”
And Sylvester believes Liverpool should be scared of Romelu Lukaku and co as United look back to their attacking best.

“If I was a Liverpool fan I’d be more worried about strikers facing their defence than United,” he added.
“Especially Lukaku and Rashford. The problem with Liverpool is when they lose possession they don’ t protect the back four so they are exposed to one- v-ones on many occasions.
“That’s because they expend so much energy going forward as a unit.”
