Leeds United news: Pierre-Michel Lasogga reveals extra motivation for Elland Road success
PIERRE-MICHEL LASOGGA is fired up for more success after being named Leeds United’s player of the month for September.

Lasogga arrived on a season-long loan from Bundesliga outfit Hamburg in the summer transfer window and hit the ground running at Elland Road.
The German striker scored three goals and provided three assists in four league appearances during the month.
He said: “It’s a great feeling for me and a big honour that I get this big support from the fans.
“It’s a great motivation for me to give my best.
“I’m here for a short time but I love this big club.”

Lasogga, 25, enjoyed a stunning debut for Leeds, bagging a brace in the 5-0 thumping of Burton Albion and he picked that out as his highlight of the month.
He revealed: “Special moment was my first match at Elland Road when I scored two goals.
“I think this was my favourite moment last month.”

Leeds suffered a 3-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday before the international break and will hope to return to winning ways against Reading at Elland Road on Saturday.
“I think we’re ready,” he told LUTV. “In the last matches you see when we played at home we played very well so I hope that we will do it on Saturday again.”
He added: “I never played before against Reading and I hope we can show our best and get the victory.”
