Liverpool news: Juventus would make no mistake if they signed Emre Can - Alex Manninger
EMRE CAN would be a good signing for Juventus if he was to leave Liverpool.
That is the view of former Liverpool keeper Alex Manninger.
Can, 23, has just 10 months remaining on his current contract at Liverpool and has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus.
The Serie A side had a £23million deadline-day bid rejected by the Reds for his services in the summer.
Liverpool are determined to agree terms over a contract extension, but are at a standstill as Can apparently wants a release clause inserted into his new deal.
Juve chief Beppe Moratta has confirmed the Italian giants will reignite their interest in Can, who will be free to talk to rival clubs in January.

Reports in Italy even claim they have already drawn up a contract with a view to signing him on a free transfer in the summer.
Can himself also revealed he felt “honoured” by Juve showing an interest in him.
And former Reds stopper Manninger reckons he would be a solid addition to Masimiliano Allegri’s squad.
Manninger told Il Bianco Nero: "He [Can] is young and is a player I've always admired.

"He is still young but is definitely very strong. He plays like a veteran. He knows how to defend and how to score goals.
"Juventus will make no mistake if they sign him. He has great charisma and never wants to lose. He has Turkish blood but German technique."
Can has made 138 appearances for Liverpool since signing from Bayer Leverkusen in 2013.
And he is likely to feature against Manchester United at Anfield on Saturday (12:30pm).
