That is the view of former Arsenal midfielder-turned-pundit Paul Merson.
Bayern Munich sacked Carlo Ancelotti on Thursday after the Bundesliga champions were comfortably beat 3-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League the night before.
Willy Sagnol has taken temporary charge, but they remain on the hunt for a permanent successor.
Jurgen Klopp has been touted as a potential future Bayern Munich manager and that speculation is likely to resurface now the post is vacant.
But Merson reckons the German boss would be wrong to leave Liverpool for a return to his homeland as he doubts whether it would even appeal to Klopp.

Merson told Sky Sports Soccer Saturday: "If Liverpool can sort out their defence they will be big players in this league.
"That Bayern Munich team is ageing. It is a million miles away from winning the Champions League now.
"They might win the German league but I wouldn't leave Liverpool for that."

Klopp is aiming to restore Liverpool to their former glories, but has struggled in doing so with the club struggling defensively this term.
The Reds were left frustrated in Russia after they drew 1-1 with Spartak Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday.
But Klopp will be looking to get his side back to winning ways when they return to Premier League action against Newcastle today (4:30pm).
