Liverpool news: Philippe Coutinho taken off by Jurgen Klopp at half-time as Reds flop
PHILLIPE COUTINHO was substituted by manager Jurgen Klopp after 45 minutes of Liverpool’s Carabao Cup clash with Leicester.

The Brazilian had been controlling the game for Liverpool before he was replaced by Welsh youngster Ben Woodburn.
But with Coutinho watching from the stands, the hosts grew into the game and Shinji Okazaki broke the deadlock for Leicester on 65 minutes with a deflected finish.
Despite Liverpool looking much the better side in the first half, Leicester were soon in the ascendancy.
Islam Slimani doubled the Foxes lead with a powerful shot from 25 yards out, leaving Klopp furious on the bench.

Coutinho had had his chances to get on the scoresheet at the King Power Stadium, twice testing Foxes goalkeeper Ben Hamer.
He put wide an Andrew Robertson cross before being hooked at the break.
