Paul Pogba suffered a hamstring injury during Manchester United's clash with Basel
Pogba – who captained the side in their first Champions League match since 2015 – limped off within the opening 20 minutes of the match at Old Trafford.
He was replaced by Marouane Fellaini who went on to score the opening goal.
The Frenchman pulled up with a hamstring injury while attempting a challenge within United’s half.
BT Sport commentator Owen Hargreaves said: “It was a bit of an awkward movement, just stretching. He clutched that hamstring straight away. He’s just over-stretched it.”
