Man Utd news: Marcus Rashford’s attitude could stop him fulfilling potential - Owen
MANCHESTER UNITED striker Marcus Rashford may not fulfil his potential if he does not have enough self belief.
Lukaku and Rashford could be the next Yorke and Cole
That is according to pundit and former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen.
Owen made the statement following an interview on BT Sport with Rashford and his strike partner Romelu Lukaku.
The duo were asked questions such as ‘who is the best finisher?’ and ‘who is the fastest?’ and Rashford would always nominate Lukaku.
Owen says that is the wrong attitude to have and if that really is what Rashford thinks, then it could be a problem down the line.

You can see Romelu Lukaku, he didn’t say Marcus Rashford was better than him at anything
“Even if you’re not the best finisher (say you are),” Owen said on BT Sport of the Manchester United man.
“I thought he was very modest in most of his questions.
“’He’s faster than me, he’s a better finisher than me’. He either believes that and it might stop him getting to the top.
“Or he’s just being nice in front of the cameras.
Man Utd news: Marcus Rashford must have more self belief, says Michael Owen
“You’ve got to be ruthless (as a striker), you’ve got to think you are the best at everything.
“This partnership might work because there’s one that’s pretty unselfish and there’s one that’s steely eyed.

“I actually think he’s quicker than Lukaku, so I was surprised (he said that).”
