Arsenal: Arsene Wenger confirms plans to sign Thomas Lemar in French interview
ARSENAL will bid once again to sign Thomas Lemar, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
Arsenal will try again to sign France star Thomas Lemar
Arsenal failed to land Lemar on transfer deadline day despite having a £92million bid accepted by Monaco.
The club claimed they could not get the deal over the line before the 11pm deadline.
It meant Alexis Sanchez remained at Arsenal instead of completing his £55m switch to Manchester City.
But Wenger says he has not given up hope of signing Lemar in the near future.

Discussing his interest in the France international with Telefoot, Wenger said: "€100m for Lemar? Yes all true, I wanted him.
“He decided to stay at Monaco."
He then added: ”We will come back for him."
Arsenal signed just two players over the summer, with Alexandre Lacazette’s £52m arrival breaking their transfer record.
Lemar would have cost almost double that but Wenger now faces the prospect of fielding a side with a disgruntled Sanchez at its helm for the rest of the season.
