Liverpool face risk of losing Emre Can for nothing: Juventus to keep tabs - EXCLUSIVE
LIVERPOOL will lose German international midfielder Emre Can for nothing next summer if they cannot agree a new deal.
Liverpool star Emre Can could be on the move
Can is out of contract at the end of the season and Italian giants Juventus failed in a bid to land him this summer.
The 23-year-old has turned down offers to remain with Jurgen Klopp’s side and is believed to have set his heart on a move to Italy.
Klopp has made it clear that he wants Can to remain at Anfield and sign a new long-term deal but accepts that he could be fighting a losing battle.
Can, who started his career with Bayern Munich, joined The Reds from Bayer Leverkusen for £9.75 million in June 2014.
Juve are determined to get their man and will try to sign him for a peppercorn fee in January but will wait until next summer if Liverpool refuse to sell.
The German has made a total of 133 appearances with Liverpool, scored 10 goals and produced eight assists.
