Arsenal had agreed a £92million fee with Monaco for winger Thomas Lemar earlier today.
However, that deal is now not happening because Lemar does not want to join the Gunners.
That has therefore ended Manchester City’s pursuit of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
City’s second offer of £60million, including £5million in bonuses, was said to be accepted but Arsenal wanted to get in a replacement.

“What’s interesting of course is that there was conversations because there is a deal in place for Alexis to go to City,” Balague said on Sky Sports.
“At the moment as we stand, Arsenal have not gone to Manchester City yet to say ‘no, he is not going to you’.
