Manchester United have made a deadline day bid for Willian
The United boss has always said he wanted four players during the window and having signed Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic, Willian is the wide player he desperately craves.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also recently signed one-year deal with the club but is not expected to return until the new year.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea are willing to sanction Willian’s exit.
Antonio Conte has already voiced concerns about a lack of depth in his squad and parting with the 29-year-old so close to the 11pm deadline would leave him with little time to find a replacement.
