Manchester United last completed a Premier League and FA Cup double back in 1999 when they went on to complete a historic treble under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Mourinho’s men have started this term in fine fashion winning both of their league games 4-0 against West Ham and Swansea respectively.
And according to The Sun, Mourinho outlined his target during a pre-season speech to the squad.
The Portuguese tactician supposedly told his squad the aim should be to win the Double and reach at least the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
