CHELSEA are set to make a second bid for Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater, according to reports.
Chelsea are set to make a £25m bid for Danny Drinkwater
Chelsea are in desperate need of reinforcements and have just 14 experienced players in their squad for the start of the Premier League season.
Antonio Conte has expressed his need for more signings and claimed this week the club are working hard behind the scenes to bring people in.
One target on the Blues' radar is said to be Leicester midfielder Danny Drinkwater who they have already had a £15million bid rejected for.
However, The Telegraph claim the Stamford Bridge club have not given up on the 27-year-old and are preparing a second offer.

The report says Chelsea are set to return with a significantly larger bid in the region of £25m.
Drinkwater is said to be keen to move to the London club, despite not being guaranteed a place in the starting XI.
Nemanja Matic has already left the Blues for Manchester United amid fears he would not get in ahead of N’Golo Kante and new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko.
However, the England international is reportedly not concerned and is keen to test himself at Stamford Bridge.
But Chelsea may find their improved offer rejected out of hand as Leicester do not want to lose Drinkwater.
The report says the Foxes have put a £40m price-tag on the midfielder - the same fee the Blues received for Matic.
Speaking about Chelsea's desperate search for new signings this week, Conte said: "I think I am the coach of this team, my aim is to improve the players.
"Whatever happens in the transfer window, the club are doing their best."
