Steve Nicol says Liverpool could still pursue Virgil van Dijk
Van Dijk has been the subject of much transfer interest this summer and the situation escalated this week when he submitted a transfer request.

It is understood Van Dijk’s preference is to join Liverpool but Jurgen Klopp has suggested he is happy with his defensive options.
Van Dijk has established himself as one of the Premier League’s best defenders since arriving in 2015.
