Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain plot surprise deal for Man Utd target Serge Aurier
MANCHESTER UNITED might miss out on signing Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain as Inter Milan enter the race to sign the defender.
Manchester United want to sign Serge Aurier
Manchester United supposedly have a £27million agreement to sign Aurier in place.
Chelsea are also said to have expressed their interest in the PSG right-back, who is free to leave the Ligue 1 side.
PSG don’t need the Ivorian after signing Dani Alves this summer.
But Italian newspaper Tuttosport claim the 24-year-old could be heading to Serie A.
According to the report, Inter are keen to land the player and will start talks with PSG over a switch.
PSG and Inter Milan could come to an agreement on Serge Aurier
Inter themselves are happy to let Joao Mario leave and a player-plus-cash deal could be on the cards.
PSG are interested in Mario, so a deal could work for both parties, Tuttosport claim.
They add United are the main competition for the player, with Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his defence.
Reports today claim United’s current second-choice right-back Matteo Darmian is a target of Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
A move for Aurier is currently being held up because the player cannot work in the UK due to him being arrested in France last year.
