Nemanja Matic: Manchester United can copy Chelsea’s tactics for title success
NEMANJA MATIC thinks Manchester United could copy Chelsea’s formation this season.
Manchester United announce Nemanja Matic signing
Last season, Chelsea had a turbulent start under Antonio Conte, and they were on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline against Arsenal.
Conte went with a 3-4-3 formation, as the Blues lifted the Premier League.
Matic, who joined Manchester United in a £40million deal at the start of the week, was central to Chelsea’s title success.
Under Jose Mourinho, United were criticised for their style of play last term.
And Matic thinks going the same way as Chelsea on a tactics front could reap dividends.

I think that formation is good, but we will see during the season you can always change
When asked for his thoughts about whether United could emulate the Blues’ formation, Matic said: “Why not?
“I think that formation is good, but we will see during the season you can always change.
“Chelsea didn’t always play the same system, they changed after ten games [after losing at Arsenal]. The season is so long.”

United face Real Madrid next in the Super Cup on Tuesday.
They then kick off their league campaign with the visit of West Ham five days later.
