Roma drop interest in Leicester star Riyad Mahrez to beat Liverpool to Emre Mor
ROMA have dropped their pursuit of Riyad Mahrez and will now vie with THREE Premier League sides to sign Emre Mor, according to reports.
Liverpool and Roma want to sign Emre Mor
Roma wanted to sign Mahrez but Leicester have been holding out for £47million for their star man.
That fee is far too much in Roma's eyes and their sporting director Monchi as been tasked with earmarking a new target.
The Serie A club are desperate to replace winger Mohamed Salah, who joined Liverpool earlier this summer.
But Monchi has found recruits hard to come by, with negotiating clubs well aware Roma are flush with cash following the sales of Salah and Antonio Rudiger.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim a move for Mahrez is now dead and that Mor has become their top target.
However, Roma face major competition to sign the Borussia Dortmund gem.
The Sun claim Liverpool, along with Everton and Arsenal, are eyeing the Turkey international.
Fiorentina have already had a £10.7m approach rejected by Dortmund, who are said to be seeking at least £12m.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has turned to Mor, 20, following their failed push to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig.
The Reds may also lose Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona later this month if Neymar completes his switch to PSG.
As for Roma, Corriere dello Sport claim they are willing to pay £17.9m including bonuses to land Mor.
