Paper round-up: Chelsea’s Sandro blow, Inter Milan eye Mane, Manchester United headache
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the best from today’s back pages.
Chelsea’s hopes of signing Juventus ace Alex Sandro have take a blow as manager Massimiliano Allegri insists he will not be leaving the club this summer.
“Alex is a Juve player, he's extraordinary and he's not moving from here,” he said.
“He's improved a lot since he arrived here and he still has margin for improvement.
Liverpool ace Sadio Mane is attracting interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan.
Express Sport understand Inter are preparing a £35million bid for the Senegalese international.
And Manchester United have been handed a European defensive headache.
Phil Jones has been handed a two match ban by UEFA for verbally abusing a doping official at the Europa League final.
He will now miss the next two European matches – next week’s UEFA Super Cup game against Real Madrid in Skopje and their first Champions League group stage clash next month – leaving Jose Mourinho short of defensive cover.
Jones joins Eric Bailly who is also suspended after receiving a two-match ban for being sent off during the Europa League semi-final win over Celta Vigo in April.
