THIBAUT COURTOIS is confident Chelsea can get the better of Arsenal in the Community Shield, but is adamant they have to stop being ‘sloppy’.

The Blues have made four signings so far this summer - Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata, whereas the Gunners have made just two.
Antonio Conte has been disappointed at being unable to get his hands on some of top targets, as he seeks to mount a challenge in the Premier League and Champions League next season.
The traditional Community Shield curtain raiser takes place a week on Sunday at Wembley.
And Courtois thinks the Blues can get the better of their north London rivals providing they cut out their mistakes.

The first game against Arsenal was good. The last two games we didn’t play bad but we gave away balls for counter-attacks
“We will do our best to win the Community Shield and I think we are ready for it," Courtois told Goal.
"Let’s see if we have a good season.
“I think we had some good training which was important for us.
“The first game against Arsenal (a 3-0 win in Beijing) was good.

“The last two games we didn’t play bad but we gave away balls for counter-attacks.
“Obviously, that’s something we have to improve.
"The trainings were good and that was the most important part."
