Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona: Liverpool should accept £80m offer - Danny Murphy
LIVERPOOL would be doing good business if they sold Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £80million, according to Danny Murphy.
Danny Murphy thinks Liverpool should accept £80m for Philippe Coutinho
Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer due to the uncertainty surrounding Neymar's future at the Nou Camp.
The La Liga giants are said to have identified Coutinho as a replacement incase their star man leaves for Paris Saint-Germain.
Liverpool are reportedly not entertaining any offers for the 25-year-old and have put a staggering £134m price-tag on him to ward off interest.
However, former Anfield man Danny Murphy thinks the Reds are hugely over-valuing the Brazil international and should be happy to accept £80m.

"There comes a point where if a player expresses a desire to go, there is sense in getting as much money as you can for him," Murphy told talkSPORT.
“If they’re talking about £199m for Neymar, you can’t put Coutinho in Neymar’s league at the moment.
“He’s not worth £150m, could they get £100m for him? Maybe.
“If Barca are prepared to pay over £80m for Coutinho, I think that’s good business.
“I’m not saying Liverpool should get rid of Coutinho, because he’s a wonderful footballer and there’s no doubt about that.
“But if he wants to go and we get £80m for him, I’d take that.”
And Murphy thinks Liverpool could cope without Coutinho, claiming new signing Mohamed Salah is a readymade replacement.
“Liverpool have been clever in getting Salah," the former England international added.
"Maybe they signed him because they thought if Coutinho goes they’ve got a ready-made replacement."
Coutinho's current contract at Anfield runs until June 2022 after he agreed a new deal in January.
