Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona: Club met Liverpool star’s agent in London - report
BARCELONA sent a representative to London on Monday to discuss a deal for Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, according to reports in Brazil.

Barcelona want to sign Coutinho but Liverpool have rejected their £72million offer.
The Nou Camp club are yet to spend big in the transfer market and may go back in with an improved offer for their top target.
Liverpool are determined to keep hold of Coutinho, who signed a new five-year contract at the club earlier this year.
But Brazilian broadcaster Globo Esporte claim Barca are working with Coutinho’s agents on a possible deal.
According to the report, Barca’s Brazilian representative Andre Cuty flew to London for a meeting with agents Kia Joorabchian and Giuliano Bertolucci.

The latter pair both work for the agency that represents Coutinho, as well as another Barca target Paulinho.
Globo Esporte report that Barca are fixed on landing the two Brazilians and Cury met with the agents to discuss how deals could be done.
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo back up the report coming out of South America.
Liverpool supposedly want £89.5m (€100m) for star man Coutinho and are under no pressure to sell.

Coutinho is currently on Liverpool’s pre-season tour and landed with the squad in Germany today.
As for Paulinho, his side Guangzhou Evergrande are not interested in selling the Tottenham flop, even though Barca are willing to pay £22.4m for him.
