Five things you need to know about Lucas Perez
The Arsenal forward looks set to leave the Gunners this summer despite only spending one season in north London.
Perez joined from the Spanish giants last summer but struggled for game time, making just nine starts in all competitions.
And it seems the 28-year-old could be about to seal a move back to his homeland with a mammoth deal on offer.
Lucas Perez looks set to leave Arsenal this summer
Galician newspaper DXT Campeon claim Deportivo president Tino Fernandez has tabled a ten-year offer to Perez that would see him become a technical secretary after hanging up his boots.
The report suggests Perez may have already accepted the offer but Deportivo and Arsenal still need to agree a fee.
The Gunners forked out £17million for his services last year but are likely to have to take a loss this time around with the Spanish side prepared to pay around £10m.
Perez, who remains under contract with Arsenal until 2020, is also attracting interest from Turkish side Fenerbahce.
However, reports in Turkey suggest the club are only interested in a loan move.
Perez will now have to make a decision on which move is best for his career with his playing time set to be even more limited at Arsenal next season following the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.
