West Brom to bid £10m for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling
WEST BROM are set to bid £10million for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling, according to reports.
Chris Smalling is reportedly a target for West Brom
Chris Smalling has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester United and made just 18 Premier League appearances last term.
The England international was plagued by injuries and found himself playing second fiddle to Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind for much of the season.
The arrival of Victor Lindelof from Benfica this summer has raised further questions about his position at Old Trafford.
And the Daily Star claim he could soon be on his way out with West Brom preparing a £10million bid for the former Fulham man.

The report says the Baggies have retained an interest in the centre-half ever since the end of last season.
Tony Pulis is said to admire the 27-year-old and is keen to add some youth to West Brom's defensive ranks.
Smalling could also reunite with his former team-mate Jonny Evans who has been made Baggies captain this season.
Pulis knows he will have to act swiftly to sign the defender, however, with Leicester, Stoke and Crystal Palace also showing interest.
West Brom have already brought in one new centre-half on loan, Ahmed Hegazy, from Egyptian Premier League side Ahly.
However, Pulis has admitted this week the club have been struggling in the transfer market but are hopeful of getting two deals done soon.
"We have three or four other targets we are desperate for. We are juggling with two at the moment and that’s not [Kieran] Gibbs," he said.
“Hopefully by the time we get back home we will have done those two.”
