Liverpool's Mohamed Salah is better than Man Utd target Ivan Perisic - Steve Nicol
LIVERPOOL's new signing Mohamed Salah is a better player than Manchester United target Ivan Perisic, according to pundit Steve Nicol.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma for a club-record fee of £36.9million earlier in the transfer window.
The former Chelsea man scored 29 Serie A goals for Roma in 65 appearances, a considerably better goalscoring record than Perisic at Inter Milan.
Perisic has netted 18 times in 70 outings for the Italian giants and is reportedly set to completing a £47million switch to Manchester United in the coming days.
Liverpool legend Nicol says he would take Jurgen Klopp's newest recruit over Perisic every day of the week.

Ivan Perisic doesn't give you goals. Mohamed Salah gives you goals
"Salah. He gives you goals," Nicol said on ESPN FC when asked who he would prefer.
"Perisic doesn't give you goals. Salah gives you goals.
"The game is about putting the ball in the back of the net so I'm going to go for the guy who puts the ball in the back of the net 10 times out of 10."
Nicol's colleague and former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson agreed with his claim.

And Robson is not sure how Perisic will fit into the Jose Mourinho's starting line-up at Old Trafford.
"I think he fits the bill better at Liverpool than Perisic does at Manchester United," Robson said.
"I'm not sure where Perisic will fit in. I certainly see Salah doing a good job for Liverpool."
