Alexandre Lacazette scores on debut for Arsenal
Arsenal recorded a 2-0 win over Sydney FC in their first pre-season outing.
Wenger's £52million signing Lacazette started the match on the bench in front of a packed out 80,000 capacity crowd.
But on the 69th minute Lacazette took to the field and he wasted no time in making an impact.
The 26-year-old found the net from close range moments later after some neat work from Alex Iwobi on the right wing.

It is important for him to get that [first goal] off his shoulders because you expect to score if you are a striker
And Wenger believes his goal will give him confidence going into the rest of their pre-season fixtures.
“It is important for him to get that [first goal] off his shoulders because you expect to score if you are a striker,” Wenger said in his post-match press conference.
“You could see that he was happy but overall what we were looking for was to play at pace and to develop our collective game and for long periods in the game that was quite good for us.
