Diego Costa latest: Chelsea striker wants to stay but Antonio Conte desperate to sell
DIEGO COSTA is reportedly keen to stay at Chelsea this summer but Antonio Conte says there is no way back for the striker.
Diego Costa: Conte told me I’m not in his plans anymore
Costa scored 22 goals last season to help Chelsea to the Premier League title and the FA Cup final, where he bagged a consolation as Arsenal ran out 2-1 victors.
But the Spain international looks set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Sky Sports claim Costa wants to continue at Chelsea but manager Conte is determined to see the 28-year-old gone after the pair fell out.
Costa is now expected to complete a return to Atletico Madrid, despite the La Liga club's transfer ban.

Atletico can buy players this summer but cannot register them until January, meaning he could be loaned out for the first half of the season.
His brother and representative last month confirmed that Costa had received a number of offers heading into the summer window.
But the fiery striker is not interested in a big-money move to the Far East, with Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian also said to be interested.
Diego Costa has fallen out with manager Antonio Conte
Jair Costa said: "Diego, fortunately, has many offers. I cannot say how many there are, but they exist.
"I think [a move to the Chinese Super League] is very unlikely because there is the World Cup next year and Diego Costa wants to be there."
Instead, the player might move to Besiktas, with the Turkish side’s manager today confirming he is keen on a deal.
Costa joined Chelsea in the summer of 2014 in a £32million deal from Atletico and has gone on to win two Premier League titles and the League Cup with the Blues.
