MANCHESTER UNITED could reportedly wait until the January transfer window to sign Benfica star Nelson Semedo.
Barcelona's Nelson Semedo shows incredible defensive skills
Semedo, 23, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his ranks ahead of next season.
The Portuguese boss has been eyeing improvements at right-back with Matteo Darmian set for the exit door.
Darmian has been linked with a return to his homeland with Juventus and Inter Milan said to be interested in securing his services.
And he is set for crunch talks with Jose Mourinho to discuss his future.

Semedo has been earmarked as a potential replacement for the Italy international and was apparently set to join Manchester United following Victor Lindelof's arrival.
Reports last month claimed United made a £30.6million bid for Semedo.
But interest from the Red Devils has since cooled with Portuguese outlet Correio da Manha saying Benfica are playing hardball over his transfer.
It is said they are holding out for bids of £44m for his services.

However, United and Barcelona are yet to meet their price demands.
The report adds the Premier League giants could now wait until January to move for the Portugal international in the hope that Benfica lower their demands.
Semedo made 47 appearances across all competitions for the Liga NOS side last season and scored one goal.
He is contracted to the club until the summer of 2021 and has a release clause of £53m.
