Alexandre Lacazette to Arsenal: Striker welcomed to club by fans ahead of £43.8m move
ARSENAL fans have started welcoming Alexandre Lacazette to the club - before the deal has even been announced.
Alexandre Lacazette is close to a move to Arsenal
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas spoke over the weekend to confirm Lacazette's move would be completed "within the next day or two".
Aulas revealed the deal is worth up to £43.8m, eclipsing the club-record £42.5m Arsenal paid for Mesut Ozil four years ago.
Despite official confirmation still not being forthcoming, the signing has left Gooners around the world loving the prospect of seeing the France star in action.
They have taken to Twitter in their droves to bombard Lacazette's official verified account with messages.

Lacazette last month insisted he would only move to a club who are playing in the Champions League - although it appears the 26-year-old's stance has since softened.

He also played 11 times for france and netted one goal.
