La Liga Transfer News: Ronaldo wants to force Man Utd move, Barcelona face Verratti battle
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest La Liga transfer news.
Sky sources claim Ronaldo doesn't want to play football in Spain
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly willing to force through a return to Manchester United by refusing to let his wages affect any potential deal.
The 32-year-old is supposedly ready to quit Spain after being accused of tax fraud by the authorities.
Express Sport understands former club United have cooled their interest as they are wary focusing on Ronaldo could see them miss out on other targets.
But The Sun say Ronaldo is willing to toe the line in order to ensure he makes a sensational return to Old Trafford.
The veteran will not ask for a rise on his current wages of £365,000-a-week in the hope it could make negotiations easier.
Ronaldo is also said to have told his agent, Jorge Mendes, to do all he can to manoeuvre a move back to the Premier League.
Cristiano Ronaldo is keen to rejoin Manchester United
Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti has told the club he is hellbent on joining Barcelona.
That is according to French newspaper L’Equipe, who say the Italy international has informed the Ligue 1 club’s sporting director Antero Henrique he wants to move to the Nou Camp.
Verratti wants a new challenge after winning every domestic trophy available to him since arriving from Pescara in the summer of 2012.
However, PSG are determined to keep hold of their star asset and are demanding a fee of £71million to let him move to the Nou Camp.

Sevilla have confirmed they are in talks with Inter Milan ace Ever Banega over a return to the club.
Club president Jose Castro told Radio Sevilla: “Banega? In football, you can never say never. He’s won so much with Sevilla and he’s a fantastic player.
“We don’t know the will of his club, but he may decide to come back here, where he had his best years.
“There are no talks with Inter, but our sporting director and Banega are talking.
“We can’t guarantee him the wages he gets at Inter, but who knows...”
