AC Milan to rival Manchester United for Ajax star Davy Klaassen
AC MILAN are rivalling Manchester United for Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen, according to reports in Italy.
Davy Klaassen is reportedly a target for AC Milan
AC Milan are undergoing a huge summer overhaul following their successful takeover by Chinese firm Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux.
The Serie A giants have already snapped up Franck Kessie from Atalanta and defensive duo Ricardo Rodriguez and Mateo Musacchio.
And according to Italian outlet CalcioMercato, the San Siro club have now set their sights on a trio of midfielders.
Ajax captain Davy Klaassen tops their list, along with Paris Saint-Germain flop Grzegorz Krychowiak and Lazio's Lucas Biglia.
Davy Klaassen is also a target for Manchester United and Everton

However, CalcioMercato claim Milan will face stiff competition for Klaassen in particular who is also wanted by Manchester United.
The report says the Dutchman is highly sought after because of his all-round abilities in the heart of midfield - scoring goals and dictating play.
Last month Ajax legend Sjaak Swart talked up a big summer move for Klassen, claiming he is good enough for United.
“He can play for Arsenal and Liverpool. At the moment, he would definitely succeed at Manchester United as well,” Swart said.
“There are a lot of clubs suitable for Klaassen, in Germany too. I think [he would cost] somewhere between €20-25 million [£17-£22m].”
Klassen is under contract at Ajax until June 2019. He made 50 appearances this term in all competitions for the Dutch club, scoring 20 goals and providing 12 assists.
