However, the former Borussia Dortmund man has admitted he would not have been so prolific in the Europa League had it not been for his team-mates.

“Thank you to my team-mates because without them I could not have scored so many goals,” Mkhitaryan said after the game.
“Everyone said I was going to score in the final and I did thanks to my team-mates.
"Now we are playing in the Champions League next year.”
Mkhitaryan made 11 appearances for United in the Europa League this season, scoring six goals.
