MANCHESTER UNITED have announced they play Italian side Sampdoria as part of their pre-season preparations.

Manchester United already had six games scheduled this summer ahead of the new Premier League season which gets underway over the weekend of August 12/13.
The Red Devils will play five matches in the USA including fixtures with Manchester City and La Liga duo Real Madrid and Barcelona.
United are also set to play Norwegian side Valerenga in Oslo at the end of July.
But Mourinho will play another lucrative game against Sampdoria in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on August 2.

United’s Executive Vice Chairman, Ed Woodward, said: “The team has a good variety of games over the summer, playing in great stadiums and allowing a large number of our global family of fans to see live games across the world.
“The pre-season programme has been put together to ensure the manager and his squad have a great platform to prepare for next season with games against top class opposition.”
United could also face a UEFA Super Cup match if they win the Europa League on Wednesday.
