DAVID STOCKDALE has turned down a new contract with Brighton amid transfer interest from Chelsea and Leeds United.
David Stockdale has reportedly turned down a new Brighton contract
David Stockdale has been an ever-present for Brighton this season, helping them earn promotion to the Premier League.
However, the 31-year-old is poised to leave the club and has reportedly turned down a new contract with the Seagulls.
His current deal expires next month, and the Daily Mirror claim he will leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.
Leeds United have reportedly already begun sniffing around the 31-year-old goalkeeper, while Chelsea are also said to be showing an interest.

The Mirror claim Leeds-born Stockdale may be tempted into a move to Elland Road.
But Chelsea could renew their interest in the keeper, having previously attempted to sign him in January.
The Blues were in the market for a replacement for Asmir Begovic who was tipped to join Bournemouth.
And if the Bosnia and Herzegovina international looks to leave in the summer, the Stamford Bridge club will again be in need of Stockdale's services.
The Brighton goalkeeper has spent three years at the Amex stadium, making 139 appearances in all competitions.
He was previously on Fulham's books and has also had loan spells with Leicester, Ipswich and Hull.
