Danny Rose injury: Tottenham confirm defender ruled out for rest of the season
TOTTENHAM have confirmed defender Danny Rose has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Rose hasn't featured for Tottenham since January when he picked up a knee injury against Sunderland, with Ben Davies filling in at left-back since.
And now the England international will undergo surgery to correct the problem, meaning he will miss Spurs' last two games away at Leicester and Hull.

Rose recently returned to training and was thought to be on the verge of returning to first-team football.
But Tottenham posted in a series of tweets: "We can confirm that Danny Rose has undergone exploratory surgery on his left knee today.

"He recently returned to training, however the problem has not resolved fully therefore a decision has been made to proceed to surgery.
"He will now return to action next season."
