Bournemouth tipped to beat Real Madrid to £10m Liverpool defender
LIVERPOOL can cash in on Joe Gomez this summer as Bournemouth plan a £10million bid for the defender, who is also being tracked by Real Madrid, according to reports.
Liverpool could sell Joe Gomez to Bournemouth
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is seeking a new left-back ahead of next season.
Left-back Gomez, 19, has struggled to make the position his own at Anfield since arriving from Charlton.
He has played just three FA Cup games for Liverpool all season, having recovered from last term’s horrific knee injury.
And Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is keen to release Gomez from his nightmare stint on Merseyside.
That is according to The Sun on Sunday, who claim Howe wants Gomez for his versatility.
The Cherries handed back Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Chelsea in January and their defensive form his since dipped.
The report adds that Liverpool’s 20-year-old midfielder Ryan Kent is also on Howe’s summer wish list.

Real Madrid interest
Last month it was suggested Real Madrid are interested in landing the England youth star.
Real manager Zinedine Zidane is said to be ready to restructure his defence as veteran Pepe prepares to leave the club.
Pepe is wanted in China and Galatasaray is also an option.
And Sergio Ramos’ future is also supposedly in doubt, with Gomez’s ability to play across the back four catching Zidane’s eye.

Liverpool's Joe Gomez takes the dizzy penalty challenge
Liverpool are expected to spend in the transfer window after Klopp has admitted he should have brought in new players midway through the season.
The Reds saw their title challenge fall away after the New Year when key players were either injured or absent on international duty.
James Milner has played at left-back for much of the campaign and Klopp wants to strengthen that area, with 24-year-old Alberto Moreno tipped to make way for a new recruit.
